At iDrive Alberta many of our employees and instructors are also experts in other professions and walks of life. They chose Driver Education because they are passionate about road safety and understand the risks involved in driving a motor vehicle. Our instructors chose to become full time educators because they take driving seriously and truly get job satisfaction from helping young minds achieve their goals and be successful.
At iDrive Alberta, we believe that learning how to drive does not have to be an intimidating process, but instead can be a safe and enjoyable experience. Positive reinforcement while learning to drive, will ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions, understand the importance of rules and regulations, know why we do what we do and choose to make proper driving decisions when behind the wheel.
There are lots of measures taken by the authorities and regulators to enforce safe driving on our roads, unfortunately less effort is made to educate the public about the dangers of driving and to encourage and promote quality Driver Education when learning to drive. We at iDrive Alberta focus on raising awareness of the driving scene. We also encourage people to take brush up lessons every few years to keep current with changes in traffic laws, vehicle technology and to improve their skills.

Industry Experience 6 Years
Meeta is a civil engineer who graduated from LD Engineering. She began her career as a Project Estimator in Calgary, where she played a key role in various projects, including the Bow Building project with Ledcor Construction. Additionally, she gained valuable experience in the oil and gas sector with leading companies such as Cenovus Energy. In 2018, Meeta transitioned to the service industry by founding iDrive Alberta. Through her determination and hard work, she has achieved remarkable success. Her mission is to give back to the community by improving road safety in Alberta through high-quality driver training, which she believes are essential life skills. Under Meeta’s leadership, iDrive Alberta has been recognized with Airdrie’s Best Driving School award for three consecutive years, the Calgary’s Best Driving School award for 2024, and the Top Choice Award for Calgary’s Top Driving School in 2025.
Industry Experience 11 Years
Vivek brings over 11 years of experience in Driver Education, with expertise that spans not just Calgary, but all of Western Canada. He has delivered Driver Education programs in British Columbia, throughout Alberta, and into Saskatchewan.
In his role as a The Chief Operating Officer (COO) he is responsible for training and supervising all instructors in Calgary, Okotoks, Airdrie, and Edmonton. Additionally, he manages corporate training programs and oversees the daily administrative and operational functions of the business.
Teaching experience 33 years
Ron has over 33 years of Driver Education experience. His expertise in Driver Education specifically has been sought after, not only across Canada, but also in other countries around the world, including Bolivia and Venezuela.
Ron has written curricula and designed copy-written material for many Driver Education government approved programs. He has also helped draft and implement safe driver policies for a number of companies. Ron takes great pride in teaching others to be safe drivers and making Alberta roads safer. It’s important to make people aware of what it takes to be a safe driver and he enjoys teaching others the skills required to be a responsible road user.

Ranjeet is an in-Vehicle instructor. His passion is teaching, educating, and instructing. His calm attitude, ability to explain everything in a simple way and to boost confidence in students built his very well-earned reputation in our school. He loves working with new drivers to develop their driving skills, and the feeling of watching students grow confidence in their abilities.
Teaching experience 5 years
Hi, I’m Pasha, an in-car instructor in Calgary. I’ve worked as a professional driver since 2009, and have observed firsthand the challenges that everyday drivers face. I was inspired to use this experience in my role as a driving instructor for iDrive Alberta.
The number one priority I teach is driver safety. I focus on this aspect with my students so they can begin to properly understand the rules and regulations of the road. I also use my own experiences driving under stressful situations to provide helpful driving strategies to my students for everything from downtown driving to seasonal weather conditions.
Learning how to drive can be intimidating for new drivers. I always offer plenty of reassurance and support throughout my lessons so my students can feel confident in their abilities, which they really appreciate.

Jim brings more than 10 years of teaching and training experience form other fields, which makes him an excellent Driving Instructor. His attention to details, relaxed demeanor, in-depth clarifications and learning-oriented approach makes him a great coach.

Daniel is a young, dynamic, passionate and committed driving instructor. He brings extensive experience and enthusiasm of driving to teach his students. With years of driving expertise, including manual transmission and large vehicles, he became a licensed Novice Driving Instructor. His love for driving inspired him to transition into a career that he genuinely enjoys. Renowned for his patience, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills, Daniel ensures that his students feel motivated and confident behind the wheel. He emphasizes the importance of setting clear goals with his students while fostering a flexible and enjoyable learning environment to help them master essential skills such as defensive driving, all kinds of parking and driving on busy highways.
Teaching experience 20 years
Ben has over 20 years of Driver Education experience. With In-Vehicle training, he has experience in teaching courses like Defensive Driving Course (DDC), Collision Avoidance and Winter Driving Course. He is soft spoken, dedicated and passionate instructor.
